gentle tos reminder:

while it is important to be able to network, everyone should be mindful of the following:

  1. it is a small world - when we narrow it down to a state and throw in some personal info, there is actually a pretty good chance someone may recognize you if you are not careful. your privacy is paramount to us.
  2. while allnurses.com is a wonderful place to vent (without excess personally identifiable details) it is not the place to express why ("x" specific person, place or program) is terrible. gripe away, but since we cannot permit allegations to be made about named entities, your care in not naming them is very much appreciated.
  3. please do not give out personal information about others. do not name names where anyone could identify the person in any facility including your nursing programs.

Good luck loveseacraft... Let us know

how it goes for you :)

Does anyone by any chance know what's the average gpa of the BSN applicants who gets accepted into the program? I'm planning on applying for the fall semester..

How'd your interview go today Loveseacraft? Did they say anything about when they are making decisions? Last week I heard by the end of the month, but the waiting is already killing me.

I feel that the interview went great, and I was very impressed with TCU across the board. It was very laid back and I felt relaxed and welcomed. No clinical questions, it seemed they just want to get to know you and assess your social skills. I was told that the last round of interviews are this Thursday, and everyone will hear the outcome a week from then. They are interviewing around 150 and accepting around 65.

How did yours go, whatnext? I hear ya, I'm on edge too!

I agree that TCU's interview was very laid-back and I am impressed as well to the program and to the faculty. One of the staff said they interviewed 106 and will be picking around 65. She also said that the DNP accepted students will hear (by next week) first then MSNA. Good luck everyone :)

I just got an email today and.................. I'm going to TCU! My clinical site is Huguley Memorial Medical Center in Fort Worth. Call if you haven't gotten an email yet and they will tell you over the phone. If there is anyone else out there, let us know! Best wishes!

Congrats!!

I got my email today too, going to Tulsa, my #1 choice.

Did anyone get into the DNP program?
