Hi everyone! I am a second-degree-seeking student and I applied for TCU's Accelerated BSN program for May 2012. Anyone else out there apply for this program?
I talked to someone in admissions at TCU today who told me they will be sending out acceptance letters in the next two weeks! This surprised me, because I know students last year who didn't receive their letters until February! Apparently TCU changed the application process and it goes a lot more smoothly and quickly now, because they work more closely with the nursing program. :)
Let me know if any of you are currently in this program (how do you like it??), or have applied for 2012; I'd love to get in touch with some fellow applicants! Good luck to anyone waiting on a decision letter!
did anyone here take any classes at uta before you went to tcu? im transferring over and im trying to figure out if tcu will take a transfer of patho and pharm... but no one knows lol and i kind of really need to in order to find out what i need to register for :) THANKS!
I spoke with an advisor at TCU when I went in for my transcript review - they don't accept Patho and pharm because those courses are built into their clinical program - you must take them again in clinicals - after completing both and knowing how difficult pharm is, that might be a good thing!! Good luck!

kevsgirl1 - Mine still says that too. I don't know how up to date the my.tcu pages are sometimes, because mine took forever to say "Congratulations on your admission" on my homepage after they sent me my general TCU acceptance letter in Dec. I wouldn't worry about it. The last I heard, Frances was still waiting to send out the letters for nursing admission because they're updating the system so we can pay our deposits online. Otherwise, she said the letters are ready to go out. Let us know if you hear anything!
