TCU Accelerated BSN Program May 2015

Published

Hey all!

I applied to the accelerated nursing program for a start date of Fall 2015. Does anyone that applied know the acceptance rate? How did you do on your HESI test? I heard we will hear back by the end of February.

Thank you!

Ashley

I was checking the my tcu portal I had to set up from an email I got.

I am waiting too....have been all week, I am a nervous wreck! Is there any of you all that applied without a bachelor's, I know this is the first time they have accepted applicants without one

Oh wow I didn't know the program was open to students without a bachelors degree. That's really cool!

I applied with out a bachelors too and I'm hoping for the best. I've also been overthinking this transfer letter all weekend and it's killing me. :/

you have to have a bachelors or one that will be completed by May to be qualified to get in though

"You must have a bachelor degree or near completion of a bachelor degree in any field other than nursing (e.g. BA, BBA, BFA, BS). If you are still in school, you may apply, but your degree must be completed by the time our program begins in May."

Has anyone else's portal changed from "the decision letter has been mailed" to "congrats on your admission" I haven't received anything in the mail though like some others have said

kcat15, mine did the exact same thing. Does that mean we are accepted into the nursing school specifically, or just TCU as an undeclared major?

I have no idea. I was wondering the same thing! What a tease this is!

I am concerned now.... was told during my admissions appt and the meeting I had with a tcu nursing advisor that this was the first term they were accepting non bachelor degree holders into the Accelerated BSN program. I am aware that the website says nothing regarding the changes and wonder if they are using this term to see the outcome......

sarahswhiteford, what does your portal say?

I don't have my bachelors either but I was advised by An accelerated advisor for the nursing program to apply because of my GPa and hesi scores. This is the first year they are accepting non-bachelor degrees.

I have already been accepted to tcu and am a current student. I am glad there is someone else had applied without one. :)
