Tcat Ripley lpn

I'm trying to get into one of the Tcat LPN programs in the west tn area. I took the compass test about a week ago in Jackson and pass.I have applied to the Ripley school because they are the only school that has a new class starting in January 2016 to my knowledge, and that's close to me. If im not accepted in Tcat Ripley, I do plan on applying for all the other Tcat schools that are with in a 30 mile radius of Jackson. Just hoping and praying that I am accepted!!

Oh no, your A&P grade will not keep you from getting in. You just might have to retake it when you get into the program.

Oh ok. I'm hoping now having took AP1&2, it should be easy for me. I've heard it's no where near as in depth as the courses at the comm colleges are!

I was just saying that if you have already taken A&P at a community college or university, than you could transfer that grade to the lpn course and not have to take A&P again. That's if the director say your A&p grade is high enough. If it's not, than you'll just have to take it when you get in!! And I say when because I really believe you'll make it in!!

No A&P isn't, but knowing it is a very big plus. Because knowing the body and how it works just makes it easier when you get into the more complicated courses like medsurg and pharm.

I hope your right! I guess I'll know sometime after the 5th. How long after orientation did it take you to find out you were in?

Letters were sent out about a week later!!

Omg! So it'll be mid December b4 we know! program starts Jan 4

We knew about a week later and we actually had two orientations. The 2nd one was like that last week in December. At that time, we a had been accepted and we filled out aapplicatios and fasa. And started class a week later.

Oh ok. I've done fafsa already as well. Someone said last year they did phone calls 2 days after orientation letting students know if they were accepted.

Hi @wantsin I think I'm one of those 41 names in that email you received about orientation. I do not know for sure because I received a letter in the mail today about orientation. Since you said you saw over 40 names I'm kind of nervous now because I know for a fact they won't accept all of us.
