Tcat Ripley lpn

Published

I'm trying to get into one of the Tcat LPN programs in the west tn area. I took the compass test about a week ago in Jackson and pass.I have applied to the Ripley school because they are the only school that has a new class starting in January 2016 to my knowledge, and that's close to me. If im not accepted in Tcat Ripley, I do plan on applying for all the other Tcat schools that are with in a 30 mile radius of Jackson. Just hoping and praying that I am accepted!!

Hello, yes your scores are definitely good enough to get in. The program is very accelerated. A&p is about 3 week long which I thought was really a short amount of time to learn about the the body and how it works. Lucky there are other courses like nutrition and medsurg that also give you insight on on the body and the the way it function. The most important thing is to just keep up.

Do you mind me asking if you're still in the program? I've already started studying so that I can make sure I pass.

Sorry, I misspoke. She is correct. The A&P course was roughly 3 weeks. I had to go back & look at the syllabus. It's been a while.

Are u still in the program, if so, how is it?

Staci5 are you trying to get into the program as well? Which campus are you looking to get into? I am thinking about Jackson. That drive to Ripley everyday would take 2 hours away from my studying time so I decided to wait until May.

Yes, I'm still in the program. 2 weeks from finishing medsurg!! Graduate in December.

It's fast paste. Alot of studying. 2 to3 test a week sometimes, but I really like it. Don't expect for the instructor to spoon feed the info to you. Just be prepared to study, study, study!

Ok how are clinicals? I know you'll be happy when it's over are you going to rn school afterwards?
