Does anyone know of a place in the Woodlands/Conroe/Willis/Houston areas to get a TB screening done??? I can't seem to find a place that does it and I am on countdown (3 wks) before the deadline of all my nursing school stuff being due. TIA

County Health Depts normally offer it. I would start there first.

Try the health center at your Nursing School. That's where I got mine.

Here in Willis you can walk in to the Willis Emergency Clinic and for about 25.00 get it done. They are all really nice there!!!

What program/ campus are you attending in this area?

Cool!! Last year I only took a couple of classes on line (Art, Pharm...) while waiting to apply for the nursing program...so i haven't been around the college to ask students about the program at Montgomery. If you don't mind i would like to inquire about the program(s). How are the instructors? Have you heard anything from other students in the RN basic track program? During orientation the director of Nursing said the NCLEX pass rate for last yr (or this last testing period?) was 93-97%. Does this sound accurate? I am so nervous :uhoh3:.I am taking Preparation for Basic Nursing Care 1172 in 3 wks. Its only a 2 wk class. I can't give out the instructors name on line but she seemed really nice. During orientation at the beginning of May they said they started something new this yr and preregisted everyone for fall classes. This really bites bc one of my class isn't over until 3:20 p.m. and I have to pick my kids up from school. Also our clinical site and instructor was chosen for us. I ended up with an adjunct that is TBA (To Be Announced). They said during orientation that this person is new to the staff. I sure hope they don't pick our classes for us again for the Spring semester. If you want you can PM me so that I can inquire about specific names of instructors.

CONGRATULATIONS ON GRADUATING!!!! :balloons: :balloons: :balloons: :pumpiron: :studyowl:

So, have you taken the NCLEX yet?? Good luck! What an accomplishment!
