Specialties Agency
Published Aug 29, 2001
This question has been on my mind for some time: Is is possible / feasible to do your own contract with the health care facility. I have heard of this via agencies, but this would be your own contract with the hospital pay your own taxes etc...
It is my understanding that this would be a clear tax advantage. Ex. I have my own lap top and I could then claim it for tax purposes...
Has anyone done this that could share some insight? Could you recommend how to reasearch this, or a book to read? I have purchased a tx advanage book. I know I would need an accountant and lawyer to set it up and help me maintain it... etc...
Thank you for your input... Bonnie:p

Yes, Yes, Yes! Take your nursing skills and turn them into nursing business! You will have many opportunities to thrive and succeed well beyond anyone else who is employed!
Contact me for information (look at my profile). I have been independent for almost 2 years and have a thriving organization of independent nurses. It is possible!
best regards

You must incorporate first, you cannot do it otherwise with IRS rulings. But yes, it can be easily done.
