I am starting this for anyone who is applying for the TCC RN program in August.
I am with HopefulMender - I took all my transcripts along with my TE and they gave my transcripts back to me. The advisor also updated my TE while in her office and gave me a copy (mine was from May).
The checklist they do asks for:
- Nursing Program Application
- Declaratory Order Information Sheet
- Statement of Student Responsibility
- Nursing Program Degree Audit (this is your Transcript Evaluation - you would have declared "nursing" as your major when you initiated it so that they knew what to compare your transcripts to)
- HESI Test Scores
- Immunization Record
They'll make copies of everything (if you haven't already) and you'll sign the checklist. Then you're done!! :-)
Best of luck to everyone finishing tomorrow!! I can't believe how fast this app period has flown - I hope the waiting period does as well!!!

Thanks everyone for the input tonight. I've got the degree audit done. I was just worried about the TE...which I submitted immediately after the summer II session this August....it still hasn't been completed yet. The lady in the TE office told me today that they were currently working on TE requests submitted on Aug. 9th. I submitted mine on Aug. 19th, so there's no hope of it being completed by tomorrow. So, I've got my transcripts, my previous TE from before I enrolled at TCCD, and degree audit...all that should be good enough for them.
Thanks again, man, hope, tx, and cross.
thanks for the info. guys,
@manow- i will probably print one off and turn it in also. thanks
well it is about 1127, and im about to call it a night from studying, though im not too entirely nervous as i was about the exam, since i feel prepared, im still worried about the shot record dilemma.. it just dawned on me that i should have just got a flippin' titer done..., but im going to hope for the best..

I was sweating the titer for chicken pox. I just got it in yesterday from my doc. As long as you have them all done by the time you enroll, you're golden. No worries.
G-night, all.
yes..I did it on the 7th...I took 2 hrs 35 mins...I heard something very interesting today about that...
it was mentioned that they look at how long it takes someone to complete it...so from my understanding...it someone makes a 98 and takes 4 hrs..they are no better off then someone with a 90 or 92 that took 2 hrs.......interesting huh?

Because I had completed a transcript evaluation... the advisor didn't need my transcripts, she gave them back to me. Soooo if you've already completed a transcript evaluation you shouldn't need to submit your transcripts to the nursing department.
