Thought I'd start a thread for those of us applying for spring. I'll be applying with a 4.0 and 94 HESI. Anyone else applying?

Our first exam (which is on the 4th week) convered chapter 2, 40, 4, 37, 41, 42, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 18, 22, 30 (that is the order) in our "Fundamentals of Nursing" by Craven and pages 609-614 in the "Pharmacology and the Nursing Process" by Lilley. But I don't know if it changes each semester or not.

Do you have a picture of the books by any chance? My friend graduated for tcc nursing program a few years ago and she is going to let me use her books and I wanted to make sure they are the same.

It is "Fundamentals of Nursing: Human Health and Function" 7th edition by Craven, Hirnle, Jensen. It is white with red letters and an umbrella. I have a friend who works for JPS and she got her acceptance letter the beginning of the week, too, I believe!

Do you know what her GPA and hesi scores are? Just curious cause I'm still waiting on my letter/packet. They messed mine up on Monday.

She had a 4.0 GPA and a mid to high 90's HESI score..

Hey congrats!! Yeah I did, but they sent the wrong one. They said they had to talk to the coordinator at jps and she had to verify my employment etc. Hopefully I'll know soon. I'll post it when I find out :)

Do you know of anyone in your class who was accepted as an alternate because another student dropped from the program? I'm trying to get more info on whether alternates are really called and how often.
