Okay, I cannot take it anymore. I am so ready to get into school but it seems so far away. Anybody else out there planning to apply for fall 2017? Anybody else feeling like time is dragging? What prerequisites do yall have done and what do you have left? I am currently in micro which is all I need to apply. :arghh:

How does the blood titer work? I believe I got most of my shots as a child.

You just go to your doctor and say you need titers tested for the diseases covered by the shots and they will take blood. They will let you know if you have an immunity or not. I had to redo the MMR vaccine because I didn't have an immunity to measels even though I had the vaccine as a child.

Hello everyone. I am also trying to TCC Adn for fall 2017. I already applied to UTA, also planning on applying to Texas a&m commerce BSN program. Now for TCC I already took the Hesi A2 test without the critical thinking part because UTA doesn't require it. My question is can I only choose to take the CT part at TCC? I am scared of retaking the whole test because I feel I may not do well especially for Math section. Does anyone know if this is possible?

Hmmm, I am not sure if you can just pick the critical thinking part alone.I would ask an advisor if that is possible. Since I only took the HESI A2 for TCC it is not something I asked. I looked into applying for other schools to increase my odds but they all want something different so I figured if I don't make it for fall I will try multiple schools later.

OK thanks. Please let me know. I took it first at North Lake and was able to take only 4 sections I needed without A&P they also had. But they don't have the CT part including UTA.

Hey guys!! I am currently a student on the NE campus and also planning on applying for Fall 2017 admission. I have a 4.0 science GPA and a 93 HESI. I'm excited and ready for the application period to open!

As far as the titers go, I had all of my vaccinations as a child, boosters as a teen, HEP A & B as a teen (I am 33 now). I paid $300 to have titers drawn just to find out i didn't meet immunity threshold for ANY of the vaccinations and had to have them all re-administered. If it has been a while, talk to your doctor. It might just be worth it to have the vaccinations re-administered. Mine were all covered by my insurance.

I work at a clinic so I just had titer done and now I'm just waiting.

Awesome grades. I haven't taken my hesi but do plan to next month. Unfortunately, I have a 3.0 gpa though

What TCC campus have you guys taken classes at? I've taken all of mine at North East Campus.

We have the same grades! Awesome. I have been taking all my classes at south campus. I am glad more people are joining the thread. I am ready for February so I can fill out the application.
