Tarrant County College Fall 2014 Nursing Program

Published

This topic was created for those who will be applying to Tarrant County College's Fall 2014 Nursing Program. The dialog is open for those who have never applied and those who have applied multiple times. Let's discuss our frustrations, stats, best practices for study and the HESI, where you are at achieving your goal, and if you plan to apply anywhere else.

I have applied and was turned down 3.50 Science, 90 HESI, 970 Critical thinking (for another nursing program). I was knocked down, but I refuse to stay there.

Let's talk!

I have a question. Do we print the acceptance letter and sign it or just type in our signature. Can't seem to check the I accept button... I'm having a brain fart from the excitement! Congrats to us!

The book for theory ideally. The book im sure will be Fundamentals of nursing by Ruth Craven. Get started with that. I can post the first unit exam worth of reading and that should keep you busy. Otherwise maybe take a medical terminology class if offered for the summer. I wish I would have.

Its not as bad as people make it out to be its just all about time management. There is so much material to cover and if you have no past experience in the medical field it is like learning a new language.

Thanks for your help!! I will def sign up for that class this summer.

You can sign it and email it back
