TAMUCC - Fall 2018

Hi!! I am applying to Texas A&M University Corpus Christi's eLine program for Fall 2018, and I am wondering if anyone else out there is applying this semester, as well.

I'd love to start making connections and share the experience!

I submitted my application through NursingCAS this past week.

Hey Everyone. I applied for the Accelerated Track for 2018 . My anxiety is also through the roof. I refresh my email probably every 15 minutes and have also googled Tamucc Nursing on other social media platforms for years past (sounds crazy, but I just needed to know) to see when everyone else has been notified. It seems since 2015 everyone has been notified by April 10th. Let's hope that's true, because I am going nuts waiting. Good luck everyone!

Hey!!

I have also applied to fall 2018 eline. Im anxious....I am taking pharm and possibly patho as well this summer. Have you already taken these classes.

Yes, for pharmacy. The advisor told me I do not have to take patho again.

Hi, I'm applying for the fall 2018 semester and wanted to know what everyone is doing about the pharm and patho classes since we haven't been told if we are in or not. I'm not sure if I should just go ahead and register for them or to wait to see if I get in. What're yall's plans?

I am registraring. My advisor says that those summer classes fill up fast and you don't want to get accepted and realize you can not start because you didn't registrar. You can always drop them later if you want.

Still nothing...no one has heard anything yet? Week 2 of anxiety.

So I talked to my advisor and they said due to unforeseen circumstances, the selection committee did not meet the week of the 27th, but last week. I asked for a more narrowed down timeframe on notifications and they said that it will more than likely be the third week of April ( next week). I also asked about how many students would be selected. In years past, they select 100-110 , and my advisor mentioned they could admit up to 150 . They confirmed as of the last meeting, although it does not look like they will admit the 150 limit, they will be admitting around 130, still more from years past.

Oooo..I wonder what happened. I'm so curious. So mid April really does mean mid April. Happy to know they are selecting more people. Gives us a greater chance.
