TAMUCC - Fall 2018

Published

Hi!! I am applying to Texas A&M University Corpus Christi's eLine program for Fall 2018, and I am wondering if anyone else out there is applying this semester, as well.

I'd love to start making connections and share the experience!

I submitted my application through NursingCAS this past week.

Hi everyone! I am in Austin and I applied as well. We should be hearing around the end of this month! Good to know about the spam--will definitely be checking now! I'm so sorry that happened to you!

Do you think we will hear back that fast or the second week of April? Did you apply to other schools? Are you taking pharm and health alterations at Tamucc this summer or have you already taken it? Sorry for all the questions lol

I am hoping by the first week! I was told by an advisor that they either met on or sent decisions on 3/27 of last year (I can't remember which). I also applied to UTA. I am currently taking Patho through UTA and will be taking pharm in the summer!

Oh, I am happy to see another Austinite! If we both get into this program, maybe we will be able do clinicals together.

I wonder when their background check deadline is and if they will send out emails requesting we get the ball rolling before decision letters. Apparently it can take a while if you have special considerations in your background history. Something like an additional 90 days for review.

Texas State University has already sent out a request to all qualified applicants, and those background checks are due by June 15th. I'm pretty sure TAMUCC had advised that we wait to do the check until they notify us to proceed.

You don't get the background email until you get the decision email.

Hello all,

I also applied to the Fall 18 program and I also applied to Tarrant County College LVN-RN program. I live in Aledo, Texas and will be taking Pharmacology and Health Alterations this summer. Nice to meet you all!

I'm excited we are getting people in here. Good luck to everyone. I hope we all get in.

I'm starting to get nervous!!

The cohort averages Spring 2018 are on the website now, so maybe decisions have been narrowed down and we will hear something soon!! Fingers crossed.

I noticed that a couple of days ago, too. It looks like they might have updated the ideal criteria, too, as it seems higher than I remember. Best of luck to all who have applied! Only a little while longer to wait! Longest wait ever!

Hi everyone, I'm not as far along as most of you are, but I am planning on applying to the same nursing program as you. Im hoping to get accepted into the spring of 2019 program. I do have a few questions, and I hope you can help! I am currently at UT Arlington doing my pre requisites for the nursing program here. What classes do I need to complete before APPLYING to the bsn program at TAMUCC? i am a little confused about whats needed before STARTING the program versus applying. Thanks, and I hope you all get the acceptance letter/email soon!!! :)

So I just emailed the advisor and she told me that letters will not be going out until mid to late April. I'm way to anxious to wait that long. I thought it would be sooner.
