Hi!! I am applying to Texas A&M University Corpus Christi's eLine program for Fall 2018, and I am wondering if anyone else out there is applying this semester, as well.
I'd love to start making connections and share the experience!
I submitted my application through NursingCAS this past week.
What classes do I need to complete before APPLYING to the bsn program at TAMUCC? i am a little confused about whats needed before STARTING the program versus applying. Thanks, and I hope you all get the acceptance letter/email soon!!! :)
Hey, on the CONHS website, select the eLine track and click on "Program completion requirements" drop-down link. That will give you a general idea of what is needed, but a better tool is the degree planner on SAIL. An example: you no longer need ECON as some places may mention, also your chemistry requirement counts for chemestry AND 4 credits of science (it is confusing and may not be applied correctly on the degree planner). I would email the advisor for your part of the alphabet to ensure that all of your credits are being applied on the degree planner correctly. Once they are, you just need to complete any courses you are missing. Pretty much everything you take at UTA will apply at TAMUCC, but UTA requires three classes prior to admission not needed at TAMUCC (technical writing, sociology, and the upper level nursing elective are not prereqs at TAMUCC). TAMUCC also requires a sophomore level or higher literature class (world lit, English lit, etc) that is not required at UTA.
Hey Everyone. I applied for the Accelerated Track for 2018 . My anxiety is also through the roof. I refresh my email probably every 15 minutes and have also googled Tamucc Nursing on other social media platforms for years past (sounds crazy, but I just needed to know) to see when everyone else has been notified. It seems since 2015 everyone has been notified by April 10th. Let's hope that's true, because I am going nuts waiting. Good luck everyone!
