TAMUCC Fall 2017 Accelerated BSN

Published

I didn't see a thread for Fall 2017- anyone else applying for Fall?

I take the HESI next week and have been studying like crazy!

I know it is a competitive program, I am super nervous!

Does anyone know when they will start notifying students of acceptance/rejection?

That's the only option for health alt. Unless they decide to change it up.

It a doctor that works out of Dallas I believe that teaches it. So if you have questions you have to email him.

How did tests work? Is there a specific day and time you have to take it? Did you have to go somewhere to take the test? Sorry for the questions, I've never taken an online course before! :)

You take all the quizzes and exams at home.:)

The committee meets tomorrow. Good luck to everyone!

Yay! Good luck! This waiting has been so nerve wracking lol!

The committee meets tomorrow. Good luck to everyone!

Do you know when they will start sending out acceptance letters?:nailbiting:

I read my friends acceptence letter for the summer 17' cohort and on there is said that registration starts April 1 for summer and fall 17' so I'm assuming they are going to start sending them fairly quickly.

Good luck to everyone going into the program. Stay on top of your clinical placements. If the clinical coordinator is still Elaine, she does not go above and beyond by any means to help the students succeed. If you don't mind going to Corpus, then it's not a problem. It was like pulling teeth to get placement in the Houston area. I ended up having to drive to San Antonio, Houston, and Baytown. I was lucky to have a Houston Methodist employee in my cohort who got the Methodist contract for us or I'd probably still be trying to finish clinicals. Don't ask too many questions or get on the bad side of some of the professors, who were literally the cattiest, most unprofessional college professors who with I have ever dealt.

You did the Eline program?

Yea, I think my advisor said they send them out pretty quickly and we should know by early-mid April.

They update the averages pretty quick on the website. So in a couple of days we will get the see the accepting overall gpa average, hesi average science gpa averages.

I just remembered they met today! I'm nervous.

Im not putting all my eggs in this basket. I don't think im getting in this go around. My aim is for spring. When both my GPAS will be tip

top. But if I get in. Awesome

lol

yall post when yall hear something! Good luck!
