TAMUCC eline BSN Fall 2019

Hi! the application for the upcoming Fall semester is opening soon. Anyone else applying to the BSN e-line program at TAMUCC??

Yes I got an email from Amanda the other day that my application was incomplete I didn’t specify on my nursing cas application when I was going to take pharm and patho so I just had to email her that I planned on taking it at TAMUCC over the summer and now everything is complete

Palmview, TX (2 hr drive to CC). As far as the application deadline for this term I think it was February 15 but I'm not completely sure about that. What I know for sure is that effective October 2018, the application entrance per year will be Fall and Spring only :(

See? I thought they were cutting down their entrance dates. And aww shucks! I hope you're able to find a way to keep from traveling so far.

Wow!! I don’t think they updated that on the website yet, at least they will still have 2 application entrances. How did you find out that TAMUCC doesn’t have any affiliation with hospitals in your area? Is there a website you found that has this information? I was looking online and couldn’t find any information on it?

I originally applied for summer'18. After a while I got a message from TAMUCC stating that they won't offer the eline summer program anymore. They used my same summer application for this term but I've been waiting for months(sigh). For clinical placement information I sent a message to professor Olivera (eline clinical coordinator) you can reach out at any stage of your application!

Omg! I’m sorry that happened to you. Maybe it’s all a blessing in disguise. I’m sure you’ll get in for Fall. I really hope we all do, it would be great to get through nursing school together. Thank you for the information❤️

Have y'all seen the new entry dates for the eline program at TAMUCC's webpage??? https://conhs.tamucc.edu/future-students/eLine.html I'm confused.. we are supposed to be notified around mid April-May (of this year) about our acceptance/denial right? and if we do get accepted, orientation should be sometime in August and the program is supposed to start right after that?... soo why do I see only 2020 entry terms what about 2019?? am I overthinking stuff? lol , with my previous experience I would be really disappointed if they change the entry dates again TBH...

Yes I did see that, I think they updated the website for the next application periods since the deadline for Fall 2019 has already passed they put the next application period deadlines on there. I totally understand why you would think that lol. Amanda did say that we will find out mid to late April so not too much longer now ? this waiting period is making me soooooo anxious!!

Yup, miss Faith is correct. I just emailed my advisor Mr. Ramos for e-line military and he said the committee that makes the decisions will convene in early to mid April. Notifications will be sent out via email most likely for the eline program. I am still checking my email daily though haha.

I am so glad I check this every day. What online orientation? Is that for all new students at TAMUCC? Being a transfer student, would I have to do it as well?
