Hi everyone! I'm new to this forum and just getting used to things, but I have some important questions for fellow nursing school applicants.
I have applied to TAMUCC online BSN program. I am from the DFW area and am a little concerned about getting placed for clinical rotations. I spoke with a woman on the phone who said it is possible to not get placed in DFW for clinicals (meaning travel to another metroplex.) This might be okay if I knew how many days a week we had to attend rotations and how long they lasted. Is it two days a week for six weeks, 3 days for 4 weeks, etc.
If anyone has any info on clinicals that would be very helpful!
Also, has anyone else applied to this program? And if so what area are you from? Any idea on when we'll hear back about acceptance/interviews? Thanks in advance, looking forward to hearing from y'all!

Just a reminder, registration opens this week. Many of you probably received the email giving you dates depending on your classification, but I thought I'd just send out a reminder so we can all get registered for patho and health alterations.
I started to panic and called the CONHS because the spaces are filling up! She told me they reserve a section for those students who MUST take it this summer, that way we aren't left out of the program just because of registration days.
I feel that my interview went really well! Of course I was a bit nervous, but I am sure that is expected. I'm looking forward to hearing how your interviews go as well ladies!
Madisongrinn, that is good news! I was able to sign up for both classes today, but I wonder if we will all get moved into another one.
That's awesome! Did you ask when we would hear something? I totally forgot to. Haha. All they said was that one of the professors would be calling, or something along those lines. I was also really nervous and already forgot half of the questions and stuff.

Yes...I got it this morning around 10 or 11am. It was in the email that confirmed my interview date and time. Have you checked your spam folder?
