TAMU college station spring 2018

Published

Hi everyone! I haven't seen a thread yet, but I wanted to see if anyone else was applying to TAMU for the spring of 2018.

I have almost a 3.3 GPA (darn you early college start, and teenage self!) but all the science pre reqs I've taken so far have been A's.

I took my hesi today (7/25/17) and walked out with:

accumulative: 91.60%

math: 96

reading comp: 90

grammar: 86

vocab: 94

A&P: 92

critical thinking: 870/1000

i wasn't aware that we needed to take personality and learning style until I left the testing center, so I didn't take those. I've emailed admissions and am really hoping those won't affect the admissions process.

Anyway, I thought this would be a great place to talk to each other throughout the next few months! Best of luck to all of you, and hopefully I'll see you in the spring!

OMG I meant ***should!!!!!!

hahaha I figured thats what you meant! My email is [email protected]! We can exchange info there to avoid putting #'s on a public forum haha

Hey guys, I cannot believe I have not found this thread until today. Congratulations to everyone who has gotten in! I still have not heard back from them, but do not have my hopes high at all given how competitive the program is. What do yalls last names start with? Im hoping they are going alphabetically.

Ahh okay, 1. CONGRATS Y'ALL !!! SO stinkin happy for you !! And 2. I just got my acceptance this morning, can I get in on this contact swapping:-)

I don't think it has anything to do with last name order. It's being broken up by which program you applied to (Traditional or 2nd Degree). The reason I say that is because my last name starts with a B and haven't heard anything. And everyone posting has come from the Traditional side of the house. If you applied for the Traditional and haven't heard anything I'd check your AIS account or NursingCAS. Or, even try calling or email.

I'm hoping the 2nd Degree people find out tonight or tomorrow morning because that's the deadline for me to accept or decline UT-Tyler.

Yes!! I put my email in my last comment :) Email me your # and I can make a group message!

I am almost positive they are sent based on when you submitted your application. I submitted mine June 8th and got the email this morning

Congrats everyone! I haven't heard anything yet. My app still says in review, I didn't have high hopes to begin with and seeing as I haven't gotten an email I'm gonna assume I didn't get in, but it'll be nice to know for sure later on

Oh that may be the slightest bit of hope I have! I didn't apply until July 25th. Either way congratulations to you! What a relief, and I bet you're excited!

How do I see admissions decisions on NursingCAS?

My nursing cas app has disappeared? I haven't received an email and my application status still says complete and in review, is anyone else experiencing this?

there isn't anything to see on nursingCAS that is just for suvmitting the application.
