TAMU college station spring 2018

Published

Hi everyone! I haven't seen a thread yet, but I wanted to see if anyone else was applying to TAMU for the spring of 2018.

I have almost a 3.3 GPA (darn you early college start, and teenage self!) but all the science pre reqs I've taken so far have been A's.

I took my hesi today (7/25/17) and walked out with:

accumulative: 91.60%

math: 96

reading comp: 90

grammar: 86

vocab: 94

A&P: 92

critical thinking: 870/1000

i wasn't aware that we needed to take personality and learning style until I left the testing center, so I didn't take those. I've emailed admissions and am really hoping those won't affect the admissions process.

Anyway, I thought this would be a great place to talk to each other throughout the next few months! Best of luck to all of you, and hopefully I'll see you in the spring!

Im internal so I don't know for sure (internal applicants don't use AIS), but I saw on the website that for external applicants, AIS will show "incomplete" since you didn't submit your transcripts directly to TAMU. They said not to worry!!

Specializes in NICU.

I am an external applicant. It just says that my transcripts haven't been received by A&M but nursingCAS says they have all of them

Mine says it's complete and in review

It feels good to have all green checks thats for sure. Hopefully a couple more weeks and we will start finding out!

I am an external applicant and I still have red X's on almost all of my app requirements. Is this the same for the rest of you?

I have green on all but my final transcript

I have green on all but my final transcript

I wonder why mine hasn't changed

I did mine back in July, I don't know if maybe that makes a difference. Also I sent my transcripts to TAMU as well as NCAS

That's it then. In their email they didnt instruct us to send our transcripts to them directly

I probably jumped the gun and saw on the tamu login if login that it was missing so I sent it

Again I'm not external so I don't know forsure, but I am pretty positive you didn't need to send your transcripts to the TAMU admissions. AIS is how you apply as a freshman or transfer to the normal undergrad college. Because your applying to nursing, I'm pretty sure only the nursing dept needs the transcripts. If you call they can verify your application is complete for you though.
