Starting the thread to see who will be trying for Spring semester this year!

I am! I plan to take the HESI next Thursday and will submit my application after that. Have you taken the HESI yet?

Yeah, it's really easy! Don't stress, just study kaplans book!

Hey! I'm also applying for Spring 2016; I'm so nervous! My gpa is lower than my typical average but I have a 94 hesi score with the 20 additional point. Overall, I'm at a 149. Really hoping that's enough. Might take the hesi again! Good luck to everyone!

That's a really good score!

Hi! I'm applying for Spring. I'm at 144! I have a 3.5 gpa and a 91 on the hesi. I've read that the average for spring has been 139 so I hope my score is good enough

Okay I'm new to this, so not exactly sure how to work everything. I am applying, or trying too. I have applied to FSU for their ABSN program in Spring 2016 I received a Bachelors degree in Food Science from the University of Florida, and am applying to some colleges that are close in case I do not get in. I plan on taking the HESI this week and have no idea what to expect. Is it really necessary to study, or is it basic knowledge? Really nervous about it all, I've noticed the AS programs for nursing applications require a lot more than the Universities. Thanks in advance!

I have exactly a 139 so I'm just praying the average doesn't go up too much and I actually get in ! I was an alternate last fall and didn't get in unfortunately! Fingers crossed :)

The HESI is basic knowledge and a pm easy test overall; with that being said, however, I would recommend refreshing your memory relating to the conversions as they have to be memorized. Good luck!

I graduated from TCC Nursing before HESI was required. I am trying to get into the Radiology program this Spring. How does find out what the average HESI and GPA scores accepted by the program in the past? Where is this info coming from?

Survived my hesi today! Made a 94 and have 3.7 gpa so I think that makes 151 points.

Hello! I'm graduating this semester from FSU with my degree in Family and Child Sciences and certificate in developmental disabilities. On the HESI, I got a 93.5% overall (94.6% if the science sections were included) with the extra 20 points. I have a 3.6 pre-req GPA giving me a total score of 149.5. I also have the humanities and microbiology. Good luck everyone!
