I figured it out! Orientation sign up doesn't start until November 16th and all of the dates are posted on the website í ½í¸Š I also did my fingerprints and drug test today. I'm doing CPR at the Red Cross on November 7th.

Yes, the nursing major is declared and I'm new to TCC. I'm classified as a transfer student (because I'll already have my bachelor's from FSU).

It says that I can't register until I sign up for an "on campus orientation".....but there are no orientation dates to sign up for? I'm confused (but I can always ask about it on Thursday).

Hello! I'm graduating this semester from FSU with my degree in Family and Child Sciences and certificate in developmental disabilities. On the HESI, I got a 93.5% overall (94.6% if the science sections were included) with the extra 20 points. I have a 3.6 pre-req GPA giving me a total score of 149.5. I also have the humanities and microbiology. Good luck everyone!

I'm graduating a semester early in Fall 2015 with a BS in Family and Child Sciences with a certificate in developmental disabilities (and all of my pre-reqs), and I want to enter into an accelerated program in 2016. I want to get a job in the healthcare system during Spring 2016. I was considering getting my CNA certification, but I was wondering if there were any other options that I haven't thought about. Summer: STA2023 (statistics) Fall: BSC2085/Lab (A&P 1) REL1300 (Intro to World Religions) FAD2230 Family Relationships/ Life Development FAD3220 Individual and Family Life Span Development I'm taking my summer class at Palm Beach State College but I currently attend Florida State University. I wasn't accepted into the nursing program during freshman admissions but I'm applying this December. If I'm not accepted this time around, I'll get my degree in Family and Child Sciences and then do accelerated.

I know I should, but I want to graduate from here. If I don't get accepted, then I would get my Family and Child Sciences degree from FSU and then apply to different accelerated programs.

Hi, I am a current freshman at FSU and I am applying to the College of Nursing after I finish my pre-reqs. I was unfortunately not accepted for freshman admissions, so I had to pick another major. I entered as a biology major, but that hasn't exactly worked out for me. I'm thinking of switching my major to family and child sciences instead. Does anyone have any advice or insight (such as which classes to take or which major to pick while I'm waiting to apply for nursing)? By the way, I'm a second semester freshman, but I have 19 credit hours from high school so technically I'm a sophomore. I ended up with a 3.4 because I was taking classes that were more difficult and that I didn't need for nursing (I know, no excuses) because of biology. I was thinking of waiting an extra year to apply so I can get my GPA up.
