Tallahassee Community College- Fall 2016

Published

Anyone here planning to apply to Tallahassee Community College's RN program beginning Fall 2016? I have finished all pre-req's, but have not taken the HESI. Anybody that has taken the HESI, how was it?!

If any of you are in Tallahassee only for schooling and have a bachelors in any field there's a 16 month MSN program in Augusta and they have a great success rate with NCLEX ... I wanted to conquer and finish tcc first though. So I could support myself living there

Hey I want everyone with an acceptance to know that congratulations are in order :)

Specializes in OB.

Yes!! Congratulations on getting in! Kaiser is not an option..They are crazy $$ and require some ridiculous extra classes to get in..so Now just waiting to see where we are at on the waiting list

Southern regional ... Bainbridge comm and Chipola are other option in vicinity

Also, don't forget NFCC! It is close enough you could live in Tallahassee and make the drive.

Don't lose hope just yet if you got on the alternate list! They gave a deadline of July 6th to accept the position in the program.. so I'm sure that there will be some people that don't accept. I've heard great things about NFCC and that was my back up plan, so look into them also!

I have my fingers crossed. Congratulations!!!!!

Where is NFCC located ??

It's about an hour east of Tallahassee, in Madison. They start the RN program once a year, in the Spring I believe.

Does anyone know how long their program is? I will look into it thank you! Also, I just sent an email requesting my status on the alternate list I guess I shall be waiting on a response. Ms. Farley's message sent out an automatic response that there will be a delay in replies to messages during this time frame. Let us just hope that it gets looked at.

I spoke to Ms Farley on Friday and she said that they will have more information on where you are on the list on Wednesday.

Ms. Douglas responded with my test scores on there and I got a 90.5 on the HESI

So that equates 90.5/100 towards my points

I got an 88, 90,92,92 so thats 3pts for the 88 and 5 for the 90s = 18

GPA is a 3.12 orrr it could have been taken down due to a transcript that i withdrew and they failed me instead of Ws and I never knew so that would maybe push my gpa to a 2.95 so it is either 31 or 29 points.

Total points are 160. I have according to my calculations either 139.5/160 OR 138.
