Taking Teas V on Monday, last minute advice?

Hi! I am taking the Teas V on Monday and didnt know if anyone took it very recently that can offer me some last minute items to focus on? I have the ATI manual and I have taken 3 investment licensing tests and have passed them with no problem in the past but feel there is so much material on this exam that I need to immediately know! I have focused on what I feel will be on the test but any other help would be much appreciated!:nurse:

What's a passing score? For me, it was 65%, which really is not very much. I wouldn't be freaking out about HAVING to get a PERFECT score.... wont really make a difference, either you pass or fail.

In my entire life, I have never had any kind of text anxiety, except for when I took the TEAS. Maybe becuase passing was so terribly important to me. Just pace your self, and relax. There were a couple times I found myself getting nervous, and would have to stop myself, take a couple breaths, and get right back into it. And of course, get plenty of sleep, have a good meal before, and good luck!

The TEAS test was a piece of cake (compared to nursing school exams and the nclex). It's just an assessment of what you should already know. It's pretty much jr high to high-school level reading, math, and science. Other than reviewing basic formulas (volume, temp conversion C to F, etc), I'm not sure you can really do a lot to prepare for it. Just try to relax. Take you time. Read the questions carefully, and double-check your math work. You'll be fine. :)

Here's how to do this problem...

If Sally can paint the house in 4 hours, then in 1 hour she can paint 1/4 of the house.

If John can paint the house in 6 hours, then in 1 hour he can paint 1/6 of the house.

Let x = number of hours it would take them together to paint the house, then working together, in 1 hour they can paint 1/x of the house.

The equation is this:

Multiply both sides by the LCD which is 12x:

plot-formula.mpl?expression=%2812x%29%2A+%281%2F4%29+%2B+%2812x%29%2A%281%2F6%29+=+%2812x%29%2A%281%2Fx%29+&x=0003

plot-formula.mpl?expression=3x+%2B+2x+=+12&x=0003

plot-formula.mpl?expression=5x+=+12&x=0003

plot-formula.mpl?expression=x+=+12%2F5&x=0003 = 2.4 hours

I am hosed. I just found a Rn program and will have to take the TEAS V Test in Feb and I had no idea.....doom doom doom
