Taking the TEAS Exam

I am getting ready to take the TEAS Exam(Test of Essential Academic Skills) to get into the nursing program at a local community college. I was wondering if anyone could tell me what to expect. I have been on the testpreview.com website and also have the study guide book. The website is somewhat easy and the book is extremely hard. Kinda makes it hard to study. Just wondering if anyone had taking it and if they would be willing to give me some advice on what to expect. Thank you to anyone who can help.

I thought the test was much, much easier than the study guide--I glanced through the guide on my way to the test and thought "oh, my god, there's no way I'm going to pass this"--but I didn't have any trouble.

If you know basic sciences (the only part you can really study for, in my opinion), the best thing you can do is relax and take your time on the day of the test.

Does anyone have the jitters about taking the TEAS on a computer, I think I take tests better by paper rather than computerized. I'm gonna take it on the 7th of December 2005. I'm soooo freaking out, I did fairly well on the practice tests, but everyone says that the real test is actually easier. I have studied everyday for the past month and 1/2 and still a few times before (2 months ago). Is the test really timed, and stressful.

The test wasn't that bad if you study a little. Some schools have timed test and some don't. I took it at a school where it was timed and I had enough time to complete everything except for the math portion. FYI I took the test twice and it was the same one so if you decide to take it again try to memorize questions you had trouble on and study them for the next time you take the test.

I too am taking it on Dec 5th. I am not worried because I have heard it is pretty easy from other students who have already taken it.

Is there anything that we should review before taking it though? Chem or math??
