Hi its me again,

I am taking my NCLEX-PN SOON and my level of confidence still not OK. I have been studying and answering practice test and content review but im still AFRAID to take it. I 've been better now answering questions on the practice test but FAILING twice really get me DOWN. I dont want to fail again, this is my 3rd time and i have a feeling i know what to expect on the exam and I was thinking of rescheduling but, if i do that..i get more nervous and not want to take the test..What should i do? Im gonna have to take the test somehow, but my CONFIDENCE is very low...I know inside me i can pass it..it just so wrap up about failing again...PLEASE I NEED SOME ADVICE...Thanks:crying2:

First advise for u is that u need to do atlest 3000 to 5000 question

If u do that then u will develop ability to crack the answers...read rationales

2nd advise as u know half of the board exam is abt general knowldege what nurse gonna do etc.......

after i took exam i realized that all the exam came from saunder book, but i didnt study that book at all becuase that book has too much information which is very hard to remeber eyerything.........

So i bought exam cram question answer book 1000 questions then i bought incredbily made easy which has 3000 questions

so from both book i done abt 3000 question..........

From only my side i just wanna say that dont focus on maternity ,,u can save time............Because both times during my exam they dont ask any maternity question,,even all my friedns they didnt get any,,,,

dont focus lochia rubra or aby lochie........

But focus on hypo hyperthyidism...mysthenia gravis some major disease.......

i wil keep posting u if u need any help

Dont delay ur appoinment just take it wether u ready or not...

if u delay then ur anxiety will go more higher, and u wont be able to get good sleep.......sowhatever u know that enough

if u open difrrent book every time then u will see new question and then u gonna say o man i dont know nothing...............

so just take it and focused whatever book u have....

Instead of getting worked up again about passing, why don't you change your point of view? You are paying the application fees to take a test with X number of questions. Just go see if you can answer the questions. If you pass, terrific. If not, then just schedule again. Sooner or later you will pass. As long as you can get the money for the application fees, the odds are in your favor. Just don't give up. Good luck.

I am reading Saunders 4th edition now for content, then i have Kaplan for practice tes but its seems really hard cause i only get 45 to 50 percent. Exam cram is OK, but im not impressed by it...they dont give much on the rationale...I have been taking practice test at Saunders..and i get 65 to 80 percent...I hope i am doing ti right this time...I dont have enough money to buy books and pay pearsonvue everytime i failed since i dont have a job and staying with a friend. I really need to pass this so i can live my life and start working...I will try my best..but i dont want to overstudy too if you know what i mean..i want to take it easy and learn it ...

Don't forget to spend some time working on your relaxation techniques. That could mean the difference between passing and not passing when everything starts to jumble in front of your eyes and the headache sets in. :typing

I am really weak on Physiological Integrity. Every time i do my practice test on this i have a low score and really have a hard time with it. How do i increase my knowledge content on this area.? PLEASE HELP..Thanks And a lot of this questions are in SATA's format all the time...some are multiple choices...

Oh! I wish I can take your tears away!! But you said the magic statement yourself, you know you have it in you to pass!!! You can do it!! a friend of mine failed the test and she and another girl was the only one who failed out 45 graduates. she cried for weeks, until I thought she do not have no more tears in her!! She was so depressed, anyway she took the test again and passed. And her luck turned so good, she landed a job at one of New York finest private hospital getting paid $69,905.55( the amount looks so wonderful ) with Associate degree!! While I myself and many others who passed the NCLEX first time still struggling to get a job!!

I am telling you this , because your time is yours, you will pass because this is your time!! When you pass everything is going to click!! Take a deep breath, and you know already what to expect so go do it! Tell your self , this is my time!!! This the same advice I gave to my friend above.....

Have a positive attitude and believe in your confidence. Am 100% sure you can do it but you need to keep your anxiety under control. Study all your content, dont leave any untouched! Review all content on Pediatric, Maternal & New born, Pschy, Pharmacology and Med-Surge! You never know which question might be asked next time. Be prepared for all. Knowing everything now might be of help towards your RN. The exam is in CAT form so expect any question from all content. wish you all the best!!

This thread was exactly what I needed to get back on track. I will be taking the nclex for the second time next month. KAYBTD6 is right on the money. I do feel that confidence in yourself is very important. We will pass and we will be succesful. We can do this:up: Keep your eye on the prize and stay positive. I will pray for us both to pass with flying colors.
