Taking NCLEX-RN tomorrow

Published

So let me start off my saying I am somewhat stressed about this test tomorrow but I am also glad that the day is almost here and I will.never have to worry about taking this test again.

I graduated from my LPN-RN bridge program in January of this year and have been working as an LPN for about 15 months now. After graduating it took me a while to get into the whole study mode but I finally got the hang of it. I bought the exam cram book, saunders, and utilized the lippincotts RN passpoint that was given to us during the school year. Needless to say, I am scheduled to work evening shift tonight ( should have called off but didn't want to screw them over) and my test is tomorrow in the afternoon so I figured I would come home ( hopefully my kids will be sleep already) review over my lab values for the last time, and head to bed. I will probably be posting from the bar tomorrow once I'm done with my test so I will keep everyone informed :). Please wish me good luck with prayers! Thanks!

You will do great. I am nervous myself because I am taking mine on Thursday.

Well just finished my test. Had all 265 questions so idk how to feel. It was definitely hard though and I think I maybe knew like 30% of the questions. Keeping my fingers crossed.

So how was the Nclex for you Spearsfm, did you get your results yet??

It was OK I guess. Still waiting on results after receiving information about a new ceu requirement that must be submitted before obtaining a new license. I was completely unaware of this or else I would have did it before I even applied and paid to take the exam. Since I cannot check the BON website for a license number until they receive a completion letter from the ceu training website I used, I'm waiting on the quick results to be available through Pearson vue. It's been almost 48 hours since I took exam and I'm still getting the good pop up so just keeping my fingers crossed. @kim26 how did you do with your test?

It was extremely difficult I had 155 questions and ran out of time so I'm like shaking I feel numb. I walked in feeling confident and kept telling myself I'm doing great but fingers crossed.

Did you try the PVT yet? I had to work tonight so sorry for the late response but I ended up paying for the quick results since my license number didn't come up on BON site yet and got 100% confirmation that I did indeed PASS! I'm so excited words cannot even describe. I swear I've put in about 10 applications for hospital positions since I found out this afternoon!

Good luck to you kim26! Let me know how it goes. :)

I will let you know when I find out.

Congrats!!! :)

Congrats to you on passing!
