Hi Guys! Current nursing student, 3 semesters left. Anyways, I am wondering what the opinion is on taking NCLEX a week or two after I graduate, but then waiting 2 or 3 months to get a job after (hopefully) passing! I know that isn't the norm, but would it be okay to do that?

I say this because in most areas of the country if you could even GET a job in 2 to 3 months you'd be doing pretty well. you might luck out and find a job in a matter of weeks, or depending on what state you're in, it could take many months. What is the job market like in your area? That should tell you whether you can afford to wait or not.
