Hello everyone! I am taking my NCLEX this Friday & I am so nervous! Any tips, tricks or advice that anyone wants to share! I Have used Kaplan & Saunders 6th edition for studying. (accepting prayers also!)
Trust that you know it. Read each question carefully, ask yourself "What is this question really about?", remember the rules of NCLEX:
Airway, breathing, Cardiac - all else follows; safety first; pain DOES NOT MATTER (trust me, this will not be the case in practice!!)
Read each answer, carefully, with the thought of what the question is about in mind. Eliminate those that are NOT the answer, go from there.
Don't sweat it - I didn't even watch the number of questions. I'm assuming it was 75, as I did look one time and I'd gotten through 42. The next thing I knew, the screen went blank. I was finished. (I did pass!) Which reminds me, take your time. You have plenty of time allotted, don't rush.
