and I'm not sure how to find my q bank average... if someone could tell me how to that would be awesome but off the top of my head I've done maybe 250 q bank questions so far and I'm averaging low 50's.
I'm getting very discouraged and feeling like I'm not getting better jsut getting worse as I practice!
Also, I have u world, which I haven't used much of yet. Since you can create your own tests, does anyone have advice on how to utilize u world and create the tests?
Thanks so so much in advance!
Uworld is fantastic and has 25 sample questions for free before you sign up. StatPearls has great explanations and has multiple choice questions and flashcards for free. They have a free ebook too which was great. Free access link was on their facebook page. Mike with Simple nursing was good too with great videos on his page. Did not care for ATI rationales, thought U world is better. Lippincott alternate format questions for all those SATA ones was a great resource. Uworld has SATA questions too.
Passed in 75! PVT still works! I can't emphasize how important UWorld was for me! I owe my license to them!
I test 2/16 and I've been utilizing Uworld everyday. The content is great. what advice would you have for those that are using Uworld and about to test? I hear so many different opinions such as the NCLEX is so broad that It makes it incredibly difficult. I just have a fear of the unknown so my anxiety is up! Thank you
Complete the whole qBank and go over rationales whether right or wrong. I know it can sound very time consuming considering there are 1900 questions but obviously you can skip topics that you've mastered already. Regardless, rationales are key! You may feel like you won't remember all the rationales you're reading but trust me it's being retained somewhere!I test 2/16 and I've been utilizing Uworld everyday. I took NCLEX this past Saturday 02/04. Pretty much exclusively used uworld and did the self assessment. From experience with both the PN and RN NCLEX, I can safely say that the uworld simulation is JUST like the real thing. They use hot spots, exhibits that show patient details like in a real chart and overall the content and format are the closest you can find to the actual NCLEX. I understand the nerves because I was just like that not even a week ago but just breathe, use uworld and focus on priority, safety and delegation. Remember, it's a test of minimum competency, not that it's not hard cause we know it is but they just want to know you'll practice safely. Mostly, trust yourself. I did read everything twice but did not second guess myself. I feel that was key.
Hi i did my exam yesterday and it was super tough for me. More than 35 SATA i got when i reach 89. 1 calculation, 5-6 medications related questions and 3 Exhibit qns. I think more tham 10 qns wère priority based qns. I m waiting for my quick result to confirm my luck. Good luck for every one. My advise for you to study well and pray well.
I took my NCLEX RN today, the computer shut off at 75 questions after just 1 hour. It's a very weird feeling when it just stops. I was sure I probably failed, came home and tried to re register for the test and this is the message I got, "Our records indicate that you have recently scheduled this exam. Another registration cannot be made at this time..
I am praying this really does mean I passed. I used the Kaplan self paced online course, and used the process for every question.

I have been studying since the end of Dec/start of Jan, taken Hurst in class.
Been doing U World for a few weeks now, I have about 200 questions left with a average in the 92nd percentile overall will be taking my SIM next week. I am worried with my average only being at 67% overall but in the 92nd percentile, it seems low to me.
I have been making q cards off of each question I got wrong to try and understand the material better.
How is the 92nd percentile average overall?
I am writing on the 14th of this month.
