Taking a Graduate Course in another school

I have finished my 95% of my program, I need a 1 course to graduate (one of the filler courses that have no real relevance). How do I take the course at another school?

Specializes in NICU, ICU, PICU, Academia.

Why do you want to do this? Most schools do not allow transfer of graduate credits - esp. so close to completion.

What 'filler' course is this?

The only time my school allows the Course to be taken is Fall or Spring, I was told it was offered in the Summer, but it isn't. I don't want to wait 8 months to finish.

This is a question that you're going to have to ask someone at your school.

Congrats on finishing and best wishes!

The key is who does the school care that my life is on hold for 8 months because of a course that really has little to do with my specialty. It seems that the nursing dept. could care less now that I'm done and are just interested in keeping things in house.

Once again, have you asked anyone, either in the nursing department or registrars office, about your options, and whether they will accept this course if you were to take it elsewhere?

I'll call the registrar tomorrow and see what can be done.
