I'm attending Walden U, online for the RN-BSN program. I'm trying to complete my degree by time my baby is due. I'm due around late Nov/early dec. If I double up on my classes for the fall, then I'll be able to complete my degree by January 2015. I just don't want to deal with the stress of a newborn baby, and working full time ( rotating shifts) while trying to finish up my BSN courses.
Do you guys think it is doable ? I know it'll take a lot of hard work and dedication but I'm up for the challenge, I guess....

Depends entirely on how difficult the classes professors are, how much work ethic/free time you have, and what classes they are.
That said I think its easily doable, especially if it is (as I presume) an ASN to BSN program

Pregnant, working rotating shifts full time, and doing 12 semester hours in six weeks? No way would I characterize that as "easily doable." It's possible, but not easy.
Thank you both for your responses !!!! So far the workload of just one 5 credit course has been manageable. I'm able to complete the work within 3-4 weeks and get A's. However, the courses are getting harder and harder.
I'm trying to pick the lesser of two evils:
1. Work full time, pregnant and 12 credits in six weeks or
2. Work full time, with a newborn, and take one class at a time.
I'll keep you all posted on how it goes !!! Thanks for the comments.
So far so good. I currently have an A in both classes. Now if I can just develope enough stamina for my next two classes I will be taking together. 12 credits in six weeks with a practicum. I will let you know how that goes !!
