taking classes during summer

Nursing Students Pre-Nursing

Published

Hi, I am a senior who will be a pre-nursing student at CSUFullerton within few months.

I am planning to take classes during summer at nearby community college to save money and time.

this is my second time taking summer classes at CC so I know how it's difficult to study in such a short period of time.

What kind of classes should I take to save time in CSUF in fall?

Can you guys recommend me some classes that are okay to take during summer for a pre-nursing student?

also, if you know about CSUFullerton nursing program, can you give me advice?

thank you for reading :nurse:

Contact the school that your going to attend and get a course sequence or anything regarding the classes you will be taking. Then, make sure what you take will transfer to that college. A lot of schools are different so the answers on here many vary on which classes they had to take. For example, a lot of colleges make you take sociology and I don't have to take that. Good luck to you!

Some schools won't let you take classes elsewhere once they've accepted you. If you do anyway, you better contact the school and make sure they will accept those classes as transfer credits, and that they will apply towards the degree.

This is a question for your advisor at the university, not us on this board.

My BSN University will not take credits from my CC after I have taken classes at the University. Be careful... dont screw yourself and waste time and $$!

I am taking my RN at the CC and I have taken all of the BSN pre-reqs at the CC so when I am done with my RN, then I can go directly to the university and get my BSN.
