Hi everyone. I am hoping to interview for a case management job. It is community based, but patients would come to the office to see me, so no travel. Working hours would be Monday-Friday 8am-4pm no weekends, holidays, or nights. I don't know what the salary is yet. I work in the ED now evenings and nights mostly, and to be honest, I do not like my job at all. Would you be willing to take a pay cut in order to work Monday-Friday? If so, how much? I've never had the normal 5 day work week, I work 3-4 shifts a week now, so I am bit nervous. Any advice appreciated!

Sometimes it helps to remember there are Happy nurse.. and the sole reason for that is not money.. It is they like their jobs and schedule and feel it fits their personal lives..
Many times the jobs with more money come with extra hours which in turn actually LOWER your pay rate. Having chased the almightly $$ for many years I now realize the errors of my ways...Life is too short and there are no do-overs!
