Take 2 on Nclex....

First i studied for 2 months Saunders + Hurst (tried la-carity but 3 days prior to exam..too late to knew it).....was very helpful, was also watching Brian (bramesvin) from youtube ...great you passed recently...sad to say i took my exam (Nclex Rn) last dec 2010 i failed ...(trick was for real) i stopped at 265 ...was so hard ...i knew i failed coz i gave up on the exam on No. 200+ and up had around (30 SATA and problem solving)... i was not ready to have that exam that long ...i got my results all was near passing....i gave my self a break ....now im going to study again...sked. my exam this coming May...studying again hurst and Saunders..(la charity ,exam cram and princeton )....will start today .......its so hard to start really.....but reading all nurses threads is keeping on the go and of course my wife and god.....i also register to take the NCLEX-pn exam (still waiting for the ATT)...Im doing it just to gage my self if i pass nclex-pn...thats the sign i could take my nlcex-rn......well ...wish me luck and hope we all pass on our upcoming challenges....:)

Are you reading all the chapters are just answering the questions I graduate may 13th and plan on taking boards either the first or second week in june, by the way I am an LpN also

day 16 finishing peds....and medication.....

like said before do not waste a lot of time of s/s of everything dx, pay attn to baisc nursing, the questions are your key to passing this test, assessments, who would you see first, 2nd given a number of pt. to assess, that is using the ABCs of nursing, immunizations, get the lacharity book and the new lippincott box NEW RN ?S, AND GET THE 4000 QUESTIONS, THERE ARE A LOT OF FREEBIES WHEN YOU GOGGLE up nclex questions, take the test you will surprise yourself with a pass, remembeer abgs and everything you know about blood, how long can it be on the floor before giving, when will you stop it, 2 persons need to check blood before starting, NS to be hung and if it is dc'd youwill run NS, things like that do not forget assessments for peds, andd weight ? for meds it is all in those 2 books, lacharith is the bomb only 29.99

day 26 cardio meds .......and start on renal system....im doing saunders and hurst and exam carm.....good luck to all test takers...we can pass this....

I graduate may 13th so I am hoping to take the exam the 2nd week in june. I am just as nervous for my RN boards as I was when I took the PN Boards in 2009. Well keep us all posted on how you are coming with your studying believe it or not you are keeping me motivated

day 30....a month is gone by, and i think im not yet ready....almost done with saunders/hurst....almost done with its end chapters quiz 's ......next stop practice ans. :eek::eek:
