Tacoma Community College Fall 2019

I need the official notice! Highline applications are due August 30th. I know we should get in but there’s not guarantee until we get that official offer. Ughh.

Noooooooooo!!!! I wish they could at least keep us updated. Our entire lives and planning are waiting on this information. I'm sure there must be some reason it takes this long to do all this but we don't know because no one is communicating with us. *sigh* If it takes them until Friday to let us know, anyone who gets into Fall will have to wait until Monday to set up financial aid and such and have less than a month to get everything settled. It's really stressful. ?

Same. I forgot all about Highline until you just mentioned it. I hope he was just told that to buy them some time and not have people calling constantly. Because if that's the case, why would she even entertain the idea that she could have notified us yesterday? My only guess is maybe they had a last minute qualification dispute and maybe had to clear that up first?

Are you gonna apply to highline or wait?I might just send my transcripts over there and then if I need to I can turn in my application next week.

I've already sent my transcripts to make sure they would be evaluated in time. You have to do an evaluation request with them. I'll just complete the app, if need be.

Wait you have to do an evaluation request? What does that mean exactly? Don’t I just request them to be sent from my school to theirs?

You have to request that they evaluate your transcripts! You basically send a form listing the schools they should expect a transcript from.

You can submit online. It's nothing too serious. But you have to do it for them to evaluate your grades.
