Tacoma Community College Fall 2019

I'm waiting to hear from Tacoma as well. I applied for Spring of this year, but wasn't drawn for the lottery (I was third on the waitlist and didn't end up getting in as an alternate either). They out an email about a month after the application deadline that had the link to the applicant scores (for the weighted average) for us to check and report any issues if the points they posted were different than what we thought they should be. So at this point I'm surprised there has been no email about the weighted scores yet.

I've found my people! lol I'm waiting for ANY word. I was alt 15 for Spring ? I'm crossing my fingers for a Winter position. Sucks that they don't let you swap with someone if you guys wanted/needed opposite quarters. Oh well, just hope I get in. Good luck.

I did well, up until yesterday, on not obsessively checking (compared to Spring) lol.

Did you guys apply to any other schools? I'm also waiting for LWTech, I heard it could have been as early as today but definitely by the 9th.

I applied at Highline and LW Tech as well for fall. Also South Puget Sound, where I am alternate 8. I haven't heard from LW and for Highline I am 86th on the list of alternates ?. Highline was my first choice because it is very close to where I live, but I would be happy with any program at this point. I have been trying to get into nursing school through these lotteries since last year.

I totally know what you mean about compulsive checking. I check both I am waiting to hear back from about 3 times a day.

I'm going to submit my highline app, once I find out about LW and TCC. I got an email from TCC today, just saying I qualified for the lottery and she'll get back Monday with weighted scores. I'm betting we don't find out anything until mid next week or the following week.

Hey guys. I applied to both lwtech and Tacoma for fall, and LWTech was a total flop for me LOL. I’m gonna act like that didn’t happen. My weighted score for TCC isn’t gonna be great(60 because I got a B in micro) but I’m hoping I’ll make it in maybe??? Good luck to you guys.

Yea, I found out I didnt make LWTECH either ? My score for TCC was 80 in spring, I don't see why it'd be different now, so I hope it's good enough.

I found out that I am not eligible for TCC this spring because the communication requirement changed from last spring and so I would need to take another class. I ended up getting an acceptance offer from LW so I am going to accept that. I’ve still got my fingers crossed for all of you waiting for TCC. Hopefully you’ll find out next week.
