Hello. I wanted to start a thread for those who applied/got hired at Swedish in Seattle for the February start date. I accepted an offer for neuro ICU. I am so excited but I am from out of state so I don't know much about the hospital or the area. Does the residency program have a good reputation? Anything helps and I would love to see who else gets an offer.

CONGRATULATIONS, OP! That's an awesome Christmas gift!
I'm about to have my second interview with the unit manager some time this upcoming week! Quite nervous too. I'm also from out of state. However, I have heard that Swedish Hospital is well-regarded from a family friend of mine who lives in Seattle.
Totomintea don't be nervous They instantly made me feel confortable just start organizing your stories now because they want a story for behavioral questions. So conflict, joy ect. Good luck!

Question for any of the new grads: Did you already take your NCLEX? I wanted to apply for the Feb cohort but being that I just graduated in December, I thought it'd be better to get all that done and get my license transferred before applying.
Also, I'm debating whether I should move to Seattle earlier and find a tech job or stay at home and work as an ER Tech (I was offered the position in the unit I did my senior preceptorship in). I really want to move now, as I figure getting into the system now will help my chances of when I do plan to apply.
