Swedish Nurse Residency for May 2014

Hello everyone! I just applied to the Nurse Residency program at Swedish in Seattle, WA for the May 2014 cohort. Anyone else in the same boat? Getting excited? Would love to hear from folks who started in previous cohorts.

They are just interviewing for May right now, not september.

I'm graduating with my BSN in May. Am I to apply to the May or September cohort?

I'm not sure applications for May are still open.... but I could be wrong. Look at their HR job listings page!

Unfortunately it's not too specific as far as which cohort it's accepting applications for. I chose the September cohort box within my application itself since the application states that you must have your RN by the program's start date.

Has anybody that applied to the Sep cohort get any phone calls/emails or changes on their app status yet?

Hey wassup guys. I have applied for the September 2014 cohort because I graduate in May of this year. I have submitted my online application through the Swedish Med Center website back in January, and I have still not heard a peep from human resource.

Do any of you know when they start interviewing applicants?

I am also in a different situation as I am an out-of-state resident, hoping to make the long-haul move to Seattle area. Do they offer over-the-phone interviews for out-of-state applicants?

@Ecstatic2014 I'm in the same situation as you. I have not heard anything yet. I know they were interviewing the May 2014 cohort first. I applied for the Sep and I won't graduate till next month.

They are still doing in person interviews for the May Residency so I don't think they will start interviewing for the September Cohort for at least another month.

Awesome! We are in the same application pool and graduating the same time. I will wait and see. I heard great stuff about Swedish Medical Center and their new graduate program. I definitely want to move out to Seattle area.

Okay, I figure out that SMC HR department is working on the May 2014 cohort right now.

If there are any out-of-state applicants for the May 2014 here at All Nurses, were you offered any phone interviews?
