Swedish Institute

Hello,

I am new to allnurses, I am applying for the Swedish Institute anyone heard anything about this school or attending this school?

Thank You

Specializes in ICU.

I just googled them and they are not accredited. Looks like another for profit college that you won't be able to get a job with. It says they are a candidate for accreditation. They are probably super expensive. I wouldn't waste my time or money.

They said they have to wait for the first class to graduate, I also checked the accredited site and the school is listed.

thank you for looking for me

They are not accredited nationally with the agency that governs nursing schools. Their website says they are a candidate. If they haven't graduated a class yet that is why. They need a high NCLEX pass rate to be considered and they have none. That does not bode well either. They have no experience in prepping people for the NCLEX. Most hospitals don't hire people from schools that are not accredited.

Oh wow thanks for the information!

Hey did you enrolled into the school yet?

No I didn't since they are not accredited

You know that they are now accredited by the ACEN
