SW Boces Entrance Exam

Hi everyone!! I applied to Southern Westchester Boces and I am scheduled to take my entrance exam next Thursday. I am looking for anyone who has attended or has recently been accepted to the school. Or even anyone who knows anything about the test and scores needed in order to get accepted. I'm getting very nervous about the exam and any advice would be appreciated. I am curious to know how students are accepted - what scores are they looking for? Thank you!

Hey ! I just received my letter of acceptance this last Friday! It definitely took about a 3 weeks to almost a month but they are sending out letters now! Any word on your exam results yet manekoneko?

I haven't got the results yet, I called CNet last week and they told me they were going to mail them at the end of the week so I guess I should be getting them soon.Although I don't trust them that much cause I had ordered a practice test,3 weeks in advance before my test date and I got it afterwards as they had forgotten to mail it...go figure!

I also took the test at Veeb and I think I did well as it was easier overall but BOCES is my first choice as it's less traffic and I liked the school better.Veeb looks a little run down.

Anyway, I am so anxious, when I get back from work I go through the mail like crazy! :wacky:

I sure hope u do get into the sw boces! It must be exciting waiting for two tests results now ..imagine u get in both! Keeping my fingers crossed for you ..let me know when you get your letters/ phone call ! I know the wait is crazy but it's all worth itttt

👏🏼 Congrats !!! A phone call is the most important so u can interview w them ! Goodluck !!! Next step will be waiting for the acceptance letter ..and everything will start making sense from there ..I got accepted into the part time day because I'll be working while going to school...and anytime 💪🏼 we need the support of each other to go through this process ! Goodluck again on Wed !

Hey everyone! I will be applying to swboces this week. I am just waiting on my second recommendation letter. I took the teas and received a 85.3 overall. Reading 81%,math 91% and Language 91%. Do you think TEAS/nursing entrance books should be enough for the CNET? I ended up taking the TEAS for other programs that required them. I plan on going for the day program. Unfortunately I exhausted all my pell grant at WCC doing the ADN program. Any past grads needed to take out any loans? And congrats to everyone that has been accepted.

Congrats !! Yayyyy we did it ! Are u in the day time full or part time class ? Oh good idea w the scrubs ! I know u can wear any color in class but I think our clinicals pants is ceil blue !!!!
