Sutter Health pre employment testing:New M/S Traveller @ Alta Bates, Oakland/Berkeley

Published

Hello, I'm a candidate for my first traveler (M/S) RN position, a 13 week assignment at Alta Bates (either @ Oakland Summit or Berkeley Ashby locations. I've gotten through the agency competency testing; last (hopefully!) big hurdle is the Sutter Health dictated competency/policies on-line testing modules. Can anyone tell me their experience with Sutter Health pre employment testing? Agency either is not familiar with it or is dodging my inquiry requests.

Also, any insights to Oakland & Berkeley Alta Bates hospital campuses management culture, particularly in the M/S departments? (BTW, I'm a 6 year M/S & psych RN "veteran", the Sutter Health candidate travel job closely mirrors my past RN experiences & training and I'm drawn to urban vulnerable populations, so in that sense I anticipate a low learning curve in doing the actual job. Information regarding the Alta Bates management style, though, I am not familiar with; as a 25 year Army "real" veteran (lol!), I don't like to get into situations without gaining as much "S2/intell" (information) as possible before doing a mission or a job!

Very much appreciate the community's input and insights,

Monte

I can't give you the info you seek, but just letting you know that you cannot yet send or receive private messages, as you do not have enough posts. You'll have to go through this thread, or wait until you have the 15 or 20 posts required for PMs.

Good luck! Alta Bates is a great facility, and my own experience with Sutter has been good.

Glad 2 hear about your positive experiences @ Alta Bates, thanks... and thanks for the tip about accursed.com 's private msg protocols! Monte
