So I havent been accepted to nursing school yet but I should hear something in the next month. If I happen to be accepted I wanted to tell my parents in a special way. Because I am 3 hours away from home getting my undergrad degree I didn't want to just tell them over the phone. Do any of you guys have an a unique way of how I can surprise my parents about my acceptance if I do get accepted? Any thoughts and comments would be great.
i got an acceptance letter in the mail for nursing school the other day, I wasnt going to open it because I thought it was bad news, opened it and to my surprise it said congrats on your acceptance. My jaw hit the floor followed by my knees, I'm so excited and nervous now.

What about meeting them half way for dinner or possibly driving to see them. I would pick out a gift that symbolizes nursing and include your acceptance letter with it inside the package and give it to them at dinner. Maybe wrap up a
Stethoscope with the acceptance letter or a keychain (etc.) I found a cute keychain on etsy:
I saw a youtube video where the parents got to the acceptance letter before their daughter and when she came home they had a cake that said, "You did it!"
Being a mom, I like the flower bouquet idea with a note to your parents that tells them you got in.
When my daughter got her letter we opened it together and we both cried. She got accepted to a BSN program right out of high school. It was a miracle!
I think I decided what I want to do to surprise them. Unfortunately I have to wait till mid April to find out! This waiting is killing me! Thanks for everyones ideas I will let you know what I did when I do it...hopefully I get good news so I can share all the details with y'all! Until then I am just trying my set to focus on school but it is tough...real tough!
You could get a stethoscope or a nurses hat (from a costume store?) and take a picture of yourself and send it to them (email or picture text? so it doesn't take as long) saying 'Guess what?!'
