Who all applied to Texas A&M HSC and got into UT houston and is going to UT houston for sure?

I think I decided what I want to do to surprise them. Unfortunately I have to wait till mid April to find out! This waiting is killing me! Thanks for everyones ideas I will let you know what I did when I do it...hopefully I get good news so I can share all the details with y'all! Until then I am just trying my set to focus on school but it is tough...real tough!

You have no idea how nervous I am! I can't focus on school and I am dreaming off it lol I am so scared I have no idea what to expect! Congrats on getting in! I wish I knew already! Where you going?

Thanks for all the ideas! I thought of doing flowers...I think if I get it at the beginning of the week I will go the flower route and send one to their work... Maybe a cookie bouquet for my dad instead because he would enjoy that more. If I get it at the end of the week I may have a family member get them to go out to eat and I'll drive home and surprise them there. They are coming for a planned visit in April with some of my moms family so if it's close to then I might just wait and do something when they come down...that's the last idea I need! Thank y'all for your input! Chicagoing they know it will be beginning half of April...I am in the dark as much as them lol.

Ok I really want to know when they will be sending out letters! Anyone want to call the school? Lol

Thanks for the ideas guys keep them coming!!! And Trenia it just depends on the school. I have never heard about picking them up but I know some schools email the applicants and send a letter as well, but the school I applied for only informs you via snail mail!

I thought about driving home but if I got it at the beginning of the week I don't think I could keep a secret that long. But maybe if it is close to the weekend I could pull it off! I'll get a family member in on it so they know I will be on the road.

Hello everyone!!! So I havent been accepted to nursing school yet but I should hear something in the next month. If I happen to be accepted I wanted to tell my parents in a special way. Because I am 3 hours away from home getting my undergrad degree I didn't want to just tell them over the phone. Do any of you guys have an a unique way of how I can surprise my parents about my acceptance if I do get accepted? Any thoughts and comments would be great. Have a fabulous day!

When did you submit your application? I ne'er received that email but there is a rumor going around that it will be sent out in March. We have another forum with summer 2011 applicants...come join us!!!

I just wish it didn't take so long for them to decide! What are they doing for 2 and half months? What kind of nurses do y'all want to be?

I'm a junior. Are you taking it at blinn in the summer? I wonder what other applicants stuff looks like.

I am finishing a&p2 but the rest I hage finished. how are you going to take a&p2 before nursing school starts?
