I just bought what I needed per each semester. One folder per class (which I reused), one notebook per class, plenty of pens, highlighters, #2 pencils, a cheap calculator.
For clinical, you'll need a stethoscope, a penlight, a small notepad, bandage scissors, a watch with a second hand (or digital), a sharpee is nice to have when you have to initial wound changes, also a small bottle of sanitizer is good to have in your bag.
Other than that, you'll figure it out as you go :) Good luck, and have fun!
Thanks!

I just use one big binder for Funds and Pharm combined, and take notes in a regular spiral notebook, one for each class. That way I don't have two big binders to lug around. You can use those write on tabs for dividers in the binder. I have a tab for NUR 111, NUR 130, NUR 111 lab, and NUR 130 lab. For lab we had to buy a nursing kit which has scissors, penlight, measuring tape, bp cuff.....and tons of other things, so I wouldn't spend much money on all that til you know if you are required to buy the kit from the bookstore. We did have to buy our own steth.
