Suplemental reading suggestions?

Are there any books/resources not required by your school that you have found helpful? I am looking at things like, the Incredibly Easy series, the Dummies Guides, and curious if anyone has had any real success using these, or similar tools. Either core nursing courses, or gen ed (A&P, Algebra, Pharm, Micro, Human Bio)

Any suggestions????

I have all the books from the Reviews and Rationales and Success Series. As Well as Saunders 5th Edition. In Med Surg, I found Manual of Medical Surgical Nursing Care to be extremely helpful.

I preferred the Easy A's series. Of course, they were not as in-depth as our books, but for a slow reader like me, those books were a God-send, especially during a time crunch.
