as always, hand hygeine is CRITICAL in all areas, at work and at home. Scary article but we have seen this coming for some time now.

I think doctors are getting better about not prescribing "routine antibiotics" to get a nervous mom off of their back. I have been trying to really concentrate on antibiotic education in the ER--finish all of the meds-and why and why the doctor didn't prescribe an antibiotic "just in case"
