SUNY Stony Brook PMHNP summer 18

Hi all. This is my first post on here. I am desperately seeking others who have been through this program or who are interviewing for it for this year. I applied 1/18 to Stony Brooks PMHNP program and received email today to schedule interview.

ANYONE OUT THERE RECENTLY GO THROUGH THIS PROGRAM? I'd like some insight on the interview process, how long it took to get acceptance/decline letter... and I'm also wondering why I was asked to bring my laptop? Is this something everyone is asked to do? It's NBD... but just seemed odd to me.

I was accepted to SUNY Upstate and it is the same. You need to be there at least once during the week and it's really going to be a struggle. Also applied to Sage, went there for my undergrad.

I got an email from Anita saying my formal acceptance letter will be mailed next week! And a second email to remember to save the date for orientation!!!!!

I was a little surprised that it was just a sentence or two and so informal. At first I didn't know if I should take it seriously or not!

Hi I live in Hoosick Falls. Received the same email. I was a little shocked of how informal it was. We actually received the save the date email prior to the two line email.
