Hi everyone,

I've started this thread so we can discuss and share our experiences applying to SUNY's ABSN program for 2021. Being that the application period just opened, I’m sure we can all benefit from sharing information in regards to the process.

I submitted my application in december. in January they sent me an email saying that my application was forwarded and I never heard back after. and then last week at 10, I randomly got an email saying I was scheduled for an interview at 12 but I didn’t see it till 11. so now I’m scared cause I wasn’t prepared at all. and most people heard back the next day and I still haven’t heard back yet.

What??! They didn't even give you the option or a headsup?? ?? I would've freaked.

Also don't worry! I've seen many others get accepted up to a week after their interview!

Those of you who were accepted how were you notified? If it was email could you please say what name we should be looking for in our inboxes?

But I am currently completing my last two prerequisites.

My status is gone and I thought it meant my application was on hold but they told me it wasn't. I'm scared if it means it's a rejection. I hope it's good news and not bad news!
