Wasn't out bird watching long as there weren't many birds to see.  Came home and then had lunch with dad

The dinner with the over 50 group went well, 8 of 9 people showed up.  Conversation was lively, so thankfully I did not have to do a lot to keep it going.  Restaurant was very good, very good service, although next time I'll look for a place a bit less pricey

Today will be going to church early as I'll be the assisting minister today.  Will do laundry and bake cookies today too.  Might ride the bicycle as well

Will be cooler day today, think it will only be in the mid 70s

It is getting close to suppertime; Nannie is napping and leaning to the side; I have adjusted her pillows on the recliner to provide support, but her body ignores the help and does what it wants, regardless. Will probably give her some Tylenol with supper, for her c/o a stiff neck, once she is awake.

I've done a few quick things upstairs and it is starting to look a little better.

The kitchen looks decent because I hae started being good about doing dishes now as soon as they've been used.

SiL promised me the other day that she will come get Nannie on Monday. Fingers crossed that it takes place!

Miracle of miracles that two days in a row ... Nannie's bed has been dry!

Not as hot today as it has been, but there is humidity. S'posta rain in the early evening.

G'day.

Had a decent day at work for a change.  Census is low for us and will likely remain low as the main OR is closed tomorrow.

Slowbro seems a bit more himself.  Might have slept wrong and was just wobbly.  His left leg seems a bit out of wack.  He's eating well and makes no noise when I pick him up.  He's just old and frail.  I hate this part.

Hi. 80 here, and humid. I couldn't ride to breakfast, as I couldn't find my bike charging cord, so I walked the 1 1/2 there and back. After I paid for the meal, I lost my debit card. I switched it "off" and will replace it Tuesday. I'm getting caught up on laundry, and tossing some raggedy towels and socks. 
an old friend of eldest ds stopped by and we visited for a while. 
I meant to post this earlier. It was too hot to cook. Dh brought home some premade salads from the grocery store deli.
