Stars it's understandable why you're feeling down, hope you feel better today
Tweety here's hoping your next shift proves better
Went out bird watching yesterday but didn't see anything. Chose a closer location as I didn't feel like driving far. Ran an errand or two then caught the train downtown to meet my friend B for the walking tour/scavenger hunt
Wasn't sure what to expect and not sure if I'd like it, but it did end up being fun, took about an hour or half or so. Lucky B brought his umbrella as it rained a bit. Later we stopped at an small Italian sandwich/pizza place before I caught my train home
Today have church, thankfully nothing to do during the service. After church will meet dad for lunch, which I moved from yesterday given that I was downtown. Will do the cooking after that
Will be a bit warmer today, in the low 60s, think there shouldn't be any more rain

It's going to be in the low 60's today with a chance of rain in the late afternoon.
I was awakened by Momo around I don't know what time, but early...got up to feed her, made a cup of coffee, then back up to bed. Ignored the coffee on my bedside table, along with the thought that it probably would be a good idea to take my AM meds, And promptly fell back to sleep and had a long, complicated dream in which I was trying to decide which guy that I was dating was one that I wanted to stay with....I don't know that I made any decisions in the dream, but it was a lot of back-and-forth, some angst and confusion, and in addition there was also working the floor in the hospital. I don't know that in any of the work portion of these dreams I actually get any patient care done..........on and on. EGADS!
Got up at noon and took my meds.....I knew I should've taken them earlier because I am aching in my ankles, knees, hips, and lower back. UGH! So I put a capsaicin patch on my lower back and did the Lidocaine roll-on on the rest of the aching spots. I am dressed but have the covers tossed over my lower extremities; I just took my meds with the cold coffee and am waiting for things to ease off before I go downstairs.
I don't know that there is anything on my brain-list that HAS TO be done. I may drive out and make a deposit in the banks after-hours slot to pay a bill that is due tomorrow. I know tomorrow is a holiday, but at least it will be in there when they open for business on Tuesday. Other than that there is nothing pressing except trying to stay on an even keel emotionally (that is not listed in my notebook, but needs to be done.) and enduring another day here at Casa Nannita. I DID get the dishes and my laundry done yesterday!! Well, except for my bedding, so there's always that to occupy my time. And I have yet to see if Nannie's bed is wet or dry; hoping I do NOT have to tackle her bedding to wash.... but we'll see in a short while when I go down there to start her day. Of course, I'd rather stay lounging in bed, reading and dozing, but what I'd RATHER do and what I MUST do are, as usual, two different things.
And so it goes.

Morning. Didn't sleep well. Finally got to sleep at 430, got up at 630 to go breakfast. Had a nice walk after. I walked by a hidden pond with lots of ducks. may go back to bed, but now the sun is peaking out. Didn't accomplish much yesterday, still feeling pretty low. I mended the dog bed that the little devils keep ripping, and they ripped it again today. I totally spaced out a master gardener meeting that I was supposed to attend. I did make dinner, so That's an accomplishment. I've been looking for pre-made thanksgiving dinners. I would like to get one from a local place, but all I find are from chains. I really don't want to cook a big meal. The whole holiday dread is coming on.

Good evening.
Had a decent day. Had two patients but discharged one and the other one was easy. No charge nurse on night shift so I got to leave on time because I didn't have to give report on all the patients.
We've been having record heat in the upper 80s, but I'm not complaining.

Beautiful day here. Not that I did much with it. Went to church and later cleared out the fridge and went grocery shopping. Ho hum.
My skin is itchy and I took a Claritin but can't tell that it helped. Twin A had an EGD on Thursday and was told he has eosinaphilic esophagitis which is related to having the atopic triad of asthma, eczema, and allergic rhinitis. Had not heard of EE before. The GI doctor did dilate his esophagus which Twin A said made an immediate difference in his ability to swallow food. The treatment is to take protonix and then follow up in 3 months.
